Cumbers Suites is a nice homey place. It's family owned hidden gem. I recommend staying here anytime your in Chama New Mexico.
This place is wonderful! Terri and Kip are incredibly kind and they really make you feel at home. It’s clean, in a good location and very comfy. As a CDT hiker having a place that makes you feel like you aren’t living out of a backpack all the time is pretty special, so glad we stayed here. The breakfast is also amazing! Highly recommend.
Lucked out on finding this place after booking ride for next day on Cumbres & Toltec train ride. Were able to book a room for two nights. Very clean and quiet; could park right outside the door to room. So convenient to railroad depot. The continental breakfast was much appreciated.
Monicque and I had a wonderful stay and Terrie and Kip made us feel right at home. The rooms are nice and spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. The location is absolutely perfect for sightseeing and shopping. We highly recommend it.
Teri and Kip are absolutely the best hosts of any place I’ve ever stayed! The rooms are huge and very clean, and the motel has the comfortable feel of being in your own home. Not only is it a great place to stay, but Teri and Kip went above and beyond after I called from our hunting camp to see if they had any rooms available and whether any restaurants would still be open by the time we got down off the mountain. Teri told me she could get us pizzas or hamburgers — and she actually went and picked up a pizza and a salad for us! It was incredibly kind and something that’s rare these days. If you’re ever near Chama, NM, I highly recommend staying here with Kip and Teri!
Wonderful temperature, indoor breakfast, cereal & milk, etc. small basketball court, ample & safe parking, outside patio, dish cable tv , mini fridge, hot shower , good water (48 ppm)test. Friendly mgr. Breakfast lobby: coffee , microwave, ice machine TV.
Friendly family owned motel. The rooms were clean and simple, nothing 'fancy', no complaints. The coffee, continental breakfast area is clean and easy. I would stay again. Also, I left some jewelry in the room and they called me to arrange it's return. Top notch.
